These Eat Healthy! pages are all about changing the way you eat, think and shop for food.  

If you are up for it, your body would be blessed with an intake of foods that will 'cleanse' it from some built up toxins.  It's only for two weeks and very easy to start. Also, if you are having any gallbladder issues or concerned about your liver, these foods will jump start your body into a new way of eating.

Change what your mind tells you to eat!
Change what your taste buds crave!  
Balance your emotions! and see the results...

 "Achieving your ideal weight" (weight loss) is a lifestyle change that affects your

First - tell you mind that you ARE going to change the way you eat, so that it will cooperate. Sound funny?  Well, it makes sense. Think about it, your heart is probably the one wanting you to look better and feel better, so it only makes sense to let your mind know what your heart wants.

Second - have your mind and your heart tell your body that it is also going to change, for the better. Tell your body to cooperate and let it know that what you are doing is life changing! You are going to feel better! and it is worth the effort.

These changes are the most fulfilling things you can do for yourself, and God is here to help you. 
  • I'm going to start you off with my "miracle" mix of veggies.  This will begin to jump start your system into a cleanse without starving you. It is extremely good for you and you will want to keep this in your intake of foods. 
  • The next few pages will have food intake guidelines that will help you understand and learn your new mindset. 
  • For your success I made 4 Tables that will assist you at the grocery store, these are to copy and take with you. Aloha to your success!

Green Veggie Mix

This combination of green vegetables work together to dilute the bile in your gallbladder, assist your liver in cleansing and is very good for your whole body.  When eaten on a regular basis it helps the system digest the foods much more effectively. This is my miracle blend!

1 bunch of organic Parsley

3 medium organic Zucchini

1/2 lb. organic Green Beans

5 stalks of organic Celery 

Wash each and cut up into slices.

Steam  for 8 minutes or until lightly steamed...  If you do not have a pan steamer, put 1/2 cup of filtered water in a large frying pan and steam that way.  

Puree' in blender: I find it easier to take some of each veggie and chop 1 - 2 cups at a time. Blend on 'food chop'. Sometimes, I will only blend 1/2 and keep the other 1/2 for a steamed veg plate. It's good to mix it up and keep it all interesting.

Keep it fun.

Cleansing:  Eat this everyday for the first 2 weeks. Somewhere in your day you will need a quick snack or lunch, this is the perfect energy for your body.

As you start your new cuisine lifestyle, it is important to start buying 'Organic'.  For the longest time I did not understand what organic meant, I just knew the grocery store charged more... What you are really looking for are Fruits and Vegetables that have not been treated with pesticides or chemicals.   Poison is harmful to your body.

HEALTH_BeetVegtable.jpgRaw Beet Salad - this is also a treatment for gallbladder pain...

1 large organic Beet (beetroot) 
Finely grate raw - if not organic you must peel.
Juice of 1/2 Lemon

2 Tbl. Flax Oil 

Mix all together and enjoy. It will last only 2 - 3 days or so in a sealed plastic container. You can also add this Beet mixture to a green salad for variety.  Beets are a natural way to keep your colon moving and wonderful for the cleansing of your liver.

Cleansing: Eat this Beet mixture 1 - 2 times per day for 14 days and then 2 - 3 times per week thereafter. Do this for the next 6 months or so.

Confession: I do not like cooked beets - yuk! So this Raw Beet Salad is perfect!
