Three Piece Parlour Set: Antique Chair, Rocker
& Love-seat I have had these
chairs my entire life, so it is with emotion I put them up for sale.
In the late 50's my Mother had the chair
and the rocker completely re-done, they were a vinyl at that time. These are the two pieces I grew up with. After she passed
on and I turned 18, I received a call from friends of hers that told me I had a love-seat to match. When I got to their
house, we went up into the attic and there it was alright! It was painted and had ugly torn vinyl. They told me
my Mom could not handle all three pieces once I was born so she asked them to store the love-seat for her. After 18 years
of separation they were together again. From 1975 to 1980 I carried all three pieces around Oregon with me. In 1979 I completely striped all the fabric and
rusty springs off the chairs while getting ready to move. In 1980 'we all' moved to California. Several years later
I had the wood completely refinished and the feet repaired, one part needed to be re-carved. Then, right after
I got married... 28 years ago I chose fabric and had all new springs as well! Finally, I had my beautiful and useable
Set of 3!
At that time they were appraised at $3,500.

Antique Buffet
I used this beautiful antique as my Dresser. It could be a Hutch in the Dining Room or what
ever your needs.
I just love the 'Plumeria' flowers that are carved. It would be
perfect here in Hawai'i, however the cost of shipping has make me consider selling it. I purchased it at Antique
Trove, Roseville, CA in 2004.
